Sri Sathya Sai visits Mumbai with His Students

Bhagavan visited Bombay between the 17th and 20th of March 1988. On March 17th He inaugurated an exhibition at Dharmakshetra, of an extensive collection of stamps on ‘Saints’ issued in different parts of the world. On the holy occasion of Ugadi and Gudi Padva (Maharashtrian New Year) which fell on the 18th of March 1988, Bhagavan gave a Discourse at Dharmakshetra. Mr. Homi. J. H. Taleyarkhan, former Indian Ambassador to Libya and Italy, presided over the gathering. Bhagavan witnessed a cultural programme of Bal Vikas students. He moved amongst them and blessed them.

On 20th, the students of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning presented a drama entitled, ‘Bhaja Govindam’ at Shanmukhananda Hall. Bhagavan addressed a public meeting at Dharmakshetra that day. 

During Bhagavan’s stay at Bombay, special meetings were arranged at Dharmakshetra for the active workers of the Sai Organisation, farmers from the adopted villages, parents of Bal Vikas students, youth of Amrithdhara course and Bal Vikas Gurus. Bhagavan returned to Brindavan on 21st March.
