“I have no disease. I don’t need medicines!”

March 4,  1997, Evening

Swami: (To one student) Kanyakumari?

Student : Yes, Swami.

Swami : Sukumar’s son?

Student : Yes, Swami.

Swami : Has father come?

Student : Yes, Swami.

Swami : Take Padanamaskar. (In the middle portico, one student was trying to give a letter.)

Kucho Ra (sit down) (The student didn’t understand Swami’s words.  So, He again tried to give the letter to Him.)
Here, students are there to give letters, there devotees will give letters.  And so many more letters will come by post. Too many letters! (Dispensary students from Institute hostel were waiting with cards. In one of the cards, some medicines were kept…)
Swami: What are they?

Student: Swami, medicines.

Swami: I have no disease. I don’t need medicines. (In another card, different antibiotics were arranged)

Swami: What are they?

Student: Swami, Antibiotics.

Swami: Antibiotics… Antibiotics. All are antibiotics.

So saying, Swami created Vibhuti and gave it to all the dispensary students. Maintenance students from the hostel were also sitting with a card. In the card, they had placed their individual photographs around Swami’s photograph.

Swami: Are you all bad students?

Student: No, Swami. Please give us Padanamaskar.

Swami: Chesko, Chesko (Take, Take)
