Swami assigned Mr. K. Chakravarthi (IAS), the job of drafting the rules for the Sri Sathya Sai Institute, on this day, as the Sri Sathya Sai University was to be formally inaugurated at Prashanti Nilayam on 22nd November 1981.
Bhagavan went through the draft before it went for final approval to the University Grants Commission and the Government of India. No single item escaped His attention. His enthusiasm for the forthcoming inauguration of the University was boundless. He meticulously checked each and every item of the programme from top to bottom; for instance, the order of the procession, the seating arrangements on the dais and so on, to the minutest details. He was the embodiment of spontaneous and unfailing guidance.
