MEANING

The manner in which Lord Shiva, the King of dancers danced on the Himalayas, the silver mountain, was –
The manner in which the dweller of Parthi, who is Shiva, the Supreme Lord protects His devotees, is –
The supreme Shiva performed the Tandava (dance); Eashwara, the Supreme Master performed the Tandava.
Adorned with earrings, bracelets on the wrist, and grasping the drum in the hand, Shiva dances to the beat.
With the crescent on the forehead, the throat stained with poison, and the body smeared with Vibhuti, Shiva performed the Tandava dance.
With the damsel (Ganga) in His matted locks, the third eye on His forehead and the crystal necklace shining brilliantly, Shiva performed the Tandava dance.
With Gauri reigning the three worlds, the Ganga flowing out in the form of rivers, and Ganesha moving about, Shiva performed the Tandava dance uninterrupted.

  5. Sairam Sirs, I could understand the meaning but could not read loudly in a proper way though I tried.
May I request you to kindly arrange bhajan recorded version playable. With that several people can
enjoy more and sing whenever they like or pray with the bhajan.

    With Sairams,

    1. Sai Ram Krishna Pallerla,

Thanks for your mail. We do not have a Bhajan recorded version of this song as it is not sung as a Bhajan. It is sung often by Swami at the end of His Divine Discourses. And so we have shared this version in His own voice.

      Warm Regards
      SSwS Team
