Karnataka Chief Minister inaugurates Sathya Sai College at Whitefield (A Photo Feature)

The Chief Minister of Mysore, Sri Veerendra Patil inaugurated the Sri Sathya Sai Arts and Science College for Men at Kadugodi (Whitefield) on the 9th of June 1969. Swami came to the College in a procession accompanied by the Chief Minister and Prof. V. K. Gokak, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Bangalore.

After the inauguration ceremony, Sri K. Narayanaswamy, the Chairman of the College Committee presented the report of the committee. The Chief Minister then gave his Inaugural Address. Thereafter, Swami delivered His Discourse. 4,000 needy people were fed as part of the Narayana Seva for the occasion.

The programme concluded with the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ by Smt. Lalita Bose (niece of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose).
